Week 3 of 365 Somethings

Last week turned out a bit different than expected. I had a severe case of pink eye all week (started in the right eye on Sunday night, spread to the left on Monday night so I spent a couple of days with demon eyes… not pretty!) There was a bit of an ice storm Monday night, enough to have all the schools close on Tuesday which happens very rarely around here. In my 17 years working in schools, I think this was maybe the 4th time that schools were closed due to weather/road conditions. For me, it was a blessing since I could really rest my eyes all day and not worry about scaring my students or their parents! Then on Thursday, we had a ped day (no classes but daycare still open with activities.) So that was a really strange week at work.

Thankfully, everything else went well. Now, what I’m showing you isn’t what I created last week, but the week before, from the 16th to the 21st. And they are: 4 ATCs (artist trading cards) on the 16th; a “thinking of you” card on the 17th; altered kraft packing tape (the kind you have to moisten in the back) on the 18th; 2 colouring books on the 19th; and, 2 greeting cards on the 21st (inspired by cards I saw in one of my Facebook groups.)

I tend not to create on Saturdays because I spend the day with my mother. And usually, any creativity I have on that day is for matching cardstock colours for her embroidered cards or scrapbook pages. Or I do some colouring in one of my many colouring books. I might show you the results of that in another post.

By the way, any ATCs I create during my 365 Somethings are available to trade if anyone is interested. And I might do more mini colouring books if anyone wants to trade those as well. You know what to do if you’re interested!

I’ll be back soon for the week 4 update!
